texts from last night!

Time for some good ol' Texts From Last Night!

With a text-style font like courier, list some texts that your characters might have sent while drunk.
Or hungover, or in the middle of the night, or earlier on in the afternoon ... anything goes!

Stuck for ideas? Check out the TFLN website for inspiration!
Welcome to Fable's second network social! Please read this before participating!

This social post is open to everyone! This means that you do not have to be a member of Fable to participate! You can think of it like a fun TDM, since network socials like this will happen every month within the game. We only ask that non-Fable residents mark that they're not in-game in their subject line.

Lastly, while we love IC banter, please remember to be civil and familiarise yourself with the game rules. Have fun!

I don't see why we couldn't work together. The faster we can catch this fish, the faster we can get our dinner ready!

Although, I would much rather figure out how to get my business started here first. I'm not even sure if they would allow burials here.

It's nothing more than stir-fried fish noodles. Might I suggest we take a different route and simply opt to purchase the ingredients? Or is a fresh catch what you require to enhance this dish? I do admit fresh seafood is preferable but not to the point in which we don't partake in any.

As for your concern regarding your line of work. I would assume any village would require funerary arrangements but if you feel that you cannot provide your services here then perhaps you can look for a different way to apply your talents.

While I would like to catch a fish on my own, we could purchase it if you want. It would certainly save us the time and effort. Unless you want to put in the effort to fish.

Then any suggestions on what else I can do? I have to admit, it is rather tricky when all my life I have been a mortician. Hmmm, I wonder what else I can do.

Hu Tao, the decision was left up to you which means asking for my preference isn't the point. Besides, I believe I already made my stance clear. As you've made yours. If you wish to catch that fish, then we shall catch that fish. Would you like me to prepare everything so that we can go out fishing later this afternoon?

And how about if I make a few suggestions? For example, applying what you know to other occupations? For example, you do have some knowledge of planning and coordinating schedules, this can be applied to a wide range of events. Although I suppose weddings and birthdays are nothing like funerals, you would still be interacting with people so that would further hone your interpersonal skills.

Although, I still believe there is room for your business here.

Oh fine, then we shall go and get the fish! Please do prepare everything as I'm afraid I only know the basics. There is only so much I can read about this hobby that it does not apply when you actually do it.

Are you suggesting that I be a planner? I suppose I could do that but it will be rather different. I might take up your suggestion as I will have to think about it. Although, it wouldn't be a bad thing to do something new.

Basic knowledge is a good starting point although experience might be of more value here, which in truth is something I lack. However, when I referred to preparation admittedly I meant gathering supplies as I erroneously assumed you were versed in fishing. It appears we may be at the same skill level.

As for my suggestion, that would be one. Truthfully with your creativity undoubtedly you could find other ways to apply your skills to different pursuits. Of course, attempting something entirely new would be very bold of you. It could be considered a learning experience.

I'm afraid so. It seems that we don't have a choice but to make guesses on how to fish. Although, I'm not sure if that is a good thing or not as it might making the fishing experience all the more enjoyable. I'm not complaining as it means we can learn from it!

Perhaps I should try my best in this hobby? Or maybe I can do some marketing about the wonders of fishing?

Can we honestly state it's mere conjecture when we are armed with basic knowledge? Though I do suppose it is as I stated earlier, experience may be far more valuable when it comes to fishing. Although I do agree that entertainment may come from learning.

Perhaps we should catch our first fish before you finalize your decision?

By the way Hu Tao. Where did you go last night?

I don't see why not! Although, we might better catch it now before I make my decision by tonight. We wouldn't want that!

...Simply a walk in the park as I gather my thoughts. Nothing more and nothing less. Not as dramatic as you were hoping, were you?

So you're going to rush forth and make it oh-fish-ial?

Please disregard that previous message. I have no idea what came over me. Let me prepare for our fishing excursion instead, especially now that you finally answered my question. And you were going to make me guess. I am so glad you changed your mind. Although I wasn't making any suppositions. Perhaps, I too should take a moment to have a walk one of these days.

How unusual for you. That is rather fishy of you to say. Are you sure that I am talking to Xingqiu or am I talking to an imposter?

Regardless, let me know when you got the things ready and I shall be there to meet you at home!

Considering the mere fact that we are in this village and our method of arrival then anyfin is possible. But I'll make haste and prepare. Meet me in an hour.

Please make it quick!

I can't wait so we can make quite a splash of a scene to the fishes!

Let's stop floundering around. I've got almost everything ready. There just isn't much to pack here.
