texts from last night!

Time for some good ol' Texts From Last Night!

With a text-style font like courier, list some texts that your characters might have sent while drunk.
Or hungover, or in the middle of the night, or earlier on in the afternoon ... anything goes!

Stuck for ideas? Check out the TFLN website for inspiration!
Welcome to Fable's second network social! Please read this before participating!

This social post is open to everyone! This means that you do not have to be a member of Fable to participate! You can think of it like a fun TDM, since network socials like this will happen every month within the game. We only ask that non-Fable residents mark that they're not in-game in their subject line.

Lastly, while we love IC banter, please remember to be civil and familiarise yourself with the game rules. Have fun!

Admittedly this is the first time that I have ever heard someone say that they engage in giving advice as a pastime. Does this mean that during your leisure time, people seek your words of wisdom? Perhaps you can continue to provide your knowledge to us here? Or is it that you desire to seek a new diversion because your former one hasn't kept you completely occupied?

Well, I agreed to help out with an advice column and it got a bit popular at home but of course it was under a pen name so almost no one knew that I was behind the responses. I don't think there is such an opportunity here with the same option to be anonymous.

Once during my business travels to a neighboring nation, there I heard that there is a popular monthly magazine published featuring such a column. No one knows the author's true identity, but I suppose in a nation full of people it is much easier to remain entirely anonymous. Here, however? Well, I would believe it is almost impossible.

I take it you wish to remain anonymous?

[ Well, that's a bit too on the nose and close to home. Good thing this is text and Gorou isn't obviously nervous. ]

It makes it easier, I think... People don't come to the advice with preconceived notions of what they know about me.

[ To be fair, he is in a fairly similar situation. Of course, he can still write as many tales and weave together as many stories as he wishes but he could never publish them. At most, perhaps he could share them with a friend or two but any more than that. Maybe that's risky. ]

Without expectations, does that fascilitate honesty?

I don't think I'm any more or less honest but sometimes people assume things and let it color their perceptions.

My reference is towards those seeking advice. For some, it may be most difficult to be forthright among their friends about certain subjects. At those times, then isn't it easier to seek advice from someone they perceive as impartial and trustworthy? I believe that would be the sense that an advice column would give?
