[ a good thing he's had some time to get used to phones in reverie.. this one looks a little different, but the functionality is more or less the same. anyway! the feed opens in a small garden, outside of tighnari's cottage, where he's sitting on the freshly tilled earth, beneath his fruit trees. nevermind that blueberries generally grow on bushes not trees WHATEVER this is fable we do what we want. he seems to be enjoying the shade! ]

Ah - hello.

[ tighnari's tall, furry ears flick as he gets comfortable, sitting cross-legged with his tail curled at his side. ]

My name is Tighnari, I'm a botanist trained in plant medicine, so I thought I might as well make people aware of my presence. There's a lot of new and interesting plant life here, so I'd like to please advise you all not to eat anything you're not entirely positive is edible.

In fact, maybe don't eat anything you forage in the wild in general. But if you do, please seek out treatment immediately. Many plants and fungi are fine to consume, but still others can be potentially quite harmful. If you're unsure about anything you find, you're welcome to ask me. And for those of you finding yourselves with new.. appendages, I'm planning to produce many balms and oils that are safe for fur and feathers and scales, and can help you to keep them healthy.

It certainly is. An entire new world full of lands to explore and new plants to identify.. [ he looks bright-eyed and bushy tailed. literally. ] If you're interested in helping, the best thing you could do is keep a notebook on the things you find - where you find them, their habitat, anything distinct about their surroundings you can take note of.

I can do that. I'll be sure to take one along with me the next time I'm gathering materials. It would be good to have some sort of documentation of the things we find here anyway.

My thoughts exactly. The more we know, the better, and the better we can make use of what we find.

.. and the more we can keep others out of trouble.

That's a hard task to manage at times. We'll need all the help we can get for that.

[She didn't know about here in Fable, but she had more than enough experience of this back home.]

Oh, don't I know it. Watching out for fool adventurers was a full time job, back home.

[ on top of his many, many other duties. being a forest watcher isn't easy, but it's sure rewarding. ]

It's easy to get in over your head. I can, unfortunately, speak from experience. It's good that there are people like you looking after them along the way.

The more we work together, the better it'll be for everyone else here. Great feats have often only become possible by coming together.

[ a dry chuckle. ]

Well, someone has to keep them from getting themselves killed.

[ tighnari might complain, but he's nevertheless always happy to help; he'd never leave anyone to die, no matter how annoying they and their actions might be! ]

Ah, my apologies for not saying so sooner. My name is Tsubaki Aoganei. It's nice to meet you as well.

Nothing to worry about, I forget to introduce myself more often than I'd like to admit. It's easy to be swept up in conversation.

Well, Tsubaki, let me know if you have any questions about the plants you've come across. I plan to open an apothecary as soon as I'm able, so feel free to come by and take a look any time.

[She could really use scale creams. Maybe they'll stop shedding as often now that it won't be nearly as stressful? She's gotta make sure to take care of herself, after all. But with that, she'll let him get back to his business.]
