Buzz buzz buzz! That's the sound of your network device receiving a social alert. Maybe you've poked around your device a little bit already, or maybe you haven't, but either way - you're about to have the chance to take part in one of Fable's social apps!
The notification chimes directly from Flitter (the fairy version of Twitter!) And this app is exactly what you would expect. Mostly nonsense scattered among hundreds and thousands of Fleets (Tweets) from the mystical creatures of Fable (and beyond!)

While as fun as they are kind, no one can deny that the Fae have a tendency to be quite mischievous. Giving them access to social media only seems to enhance these feelings! Looks like they want the new inhabitants of Fable - or just anyone who receives a magical notification - to post to Flitter with their spiciest take! Do you have certain opinions on how milky a cup of tea should be? Do you think sprinkles on cupcakes are essential or pointless? No matter the opinion, the Fae want to see it and strike up discussion!

This social post is open to everyone! This means that you do not have to be a member of Fable to participate! You can think of it like a fun TDM, since network socials like this will happen every month within the game.
We ask that non-Fable residents mark that they're not in-game in their subject line, and that Fable residents use the hashtag #fablenewbies in their posts so that the Fae can find them! After all, they wanted to see some exciting conversations brewing within Fable, but outsiders are more than welcome to chime in as well. Feel free to assume that Flitter is just as big of a dumpster fire as real Twitter. The code is only required for a toplevel, but replies can be written in a text font (like courier.)
Lastly, while we love IC banter, please remember to be civil and familiarise yourself with the game rules. Have fun!

[ And! As promised, not long after his last response, Aki is slipping through the door of Tighnari's shop, with a bag under one arm, and a mop in the other. How did he open the door? Devil hunter secrets. ]

first though.. he prepares the tea, a green tea herbal blend with lemon and raspberry, and he's just filling the pot on the counter when aki arrives. he has a key or something. looking up from behind the counter, he sighs, looking incredibly weary. ]
Over here. The sign is flipped to closed, right?

You weren’t kidding. It’s a mess in here. [ He doesn’t mean to rub it in, it’s just his usual candor. ] No idea who did it?
[ He’s still considering some standalone revenge for you, Nari. ]

[ he shakes his head with a sigh, and slides two empty cups onto the counter beside the teapot. ]
My guess is it was completely random. The Fae seem to enjoy "playing" with me, they have since the moment I arrived. Sugar?

[ Did he do something in particular to make them angry? It's entirely possible, but then again, maybe the Fae are just that fickle. It could simply be because of Tighnari's fetching ears and tail. ]

I wouldn't say they're after me, I don't think it's meant to be antagonistic.. at least not in their eyes. I think they find it fun. But.. the Fae have taken a liking to me since the moment I arrived, so.

That sounds like asking for a headache. More of a headache.
[ don't you kermit sip at him. tighnari takes a drink as well, then sighs, tugging off his apron and hanging it on the hook behind the counter. several rags and towels are piled on the counter, with a few buckets of soapy water, and spray bottles of plant-based cleaning solution. snagging a rag, tighnari dunks it in the bucket. ]

Maybe, but it would be satisfying in the moment. [ Just casually advocating for revenge. ] The tea's perfect, of course.
[ He's not sure he's ever met anyone better at brewing it than Tighnari. ]

[ he wants you to love his tea, aki!! wringing out his rag, tighnari rounds the counter at last, stopping to tip up his chin, pressing a soft kiss to aki's cheek, then another, to his jaw. they're alone here, in the shop, it's fine!! ]

[ it's not really aki's problem, but he's a kind, helpful man. ]

[ Which doesn’t really defeat Tighnari’s point, but…anyway. He pecks a kiss to the bridge of Tighnari’s nose, before stepping back to begin a showcase of his second strongest skill: cleaning. ]

[ because he's kind, because he's generous. because he's a good man. tighnari hums, takes another sip of his tea, and together they set to work, scrubbing and wiping and mopping.
it's hard work. nearly every surface of the shop has been tainted by sweet smelling rose dust, but with double the hands, it isn't long before they're making a considerable dent. stepping down from the ladder, tighnari wipes his brow with his knuckles. ]

Setting aside his mop and rag, Aki rolls his neck, a little stiff from the angle it'd been positioned at. ]

[ even though he's learned by now that making food for him is aki's love language, that he very much enjoys being a mother hen. tighnari can understand that, as a mom friend himself, even if he's not nearly so doting as aki can be. arching his back, tighnari stretches his sore arms high over his head. ]
