Buzz buzz buzz! That's the sound of your network device receiving a social alert. Maybe you've poked around your device a little bit already, or maybe you haven't, but either way - you're about to have the chance to take part in one of Fable's social apps!

The notification chimes directly from Flitter (the fairy version of Twitter!) And this app is exactly what you would expect. Mostly nonsense scattered among hundreds and thousands of Fleets (Tweets) from the mystical creatures of Fable (and beyond!)

While as fun as they are kind, no one can deny that the Fae have a tendency to be quite mischievous. Giving them access to social media only seems to enhance these feelings! Looks like they want the new inhabitants of Fable - or just anyone who receives a magical notification - to post to Flitter with their spiciest take! Do you have certain opinions on how milky a cup of tea should be? Do you think sprinkles on cupcakes are essential or pointless? No matter the opinion, the Fae want to see it and strike up discussion!

Welcome to Fable's first network social! Please read this before participating!

This social post is open to everyone! This means that you do not have to be a member of Fable to participate! You can think of it like a fun TDM, since network socials like this will happen every month within the game.

We ask that non-Fable residents mark that they're not in-game in their subject line, and that Fable residents use the hashtag #fablenewbies in their posts so that the Fae can find them! After all, they wanted to see some exciting conversations brewing within Fable, but outsiders are more than welcome to chime in as well. Feel free to assume that Flitter is just as big of a dumpster fire as real Twitter. The code is only required for a toplevel, but replies can be written in a text font (like courier.)

Lastly, while we love IC banter, please remember to be civil and familiarise yourself with the game rules. Have fun!

[The week flies by, and Ochako barely notices until she's staring the big, circled date on her calendar in the face. It's the day she promised to make something for Bakugou and already she's nervous and excited. By no means id Ochako a bad cook, she actually learned the basics from her mama, and is an especially thrifty shopper - making tasty meals on a very strict budget and wasting very little.

Still, getting certain ingredients is a little tricky, and she has to rely on what she saved up through her Work Study to get the more expensive stuff. But, when dinner time rolls around, she rolls up her sleeves and gets to cooking - a heavenly aroma of aromatics and different spices filling the kitchenette area of Heights Alliance as well as the idle sounds of sizzling, bubbling, and chopping. Maybe even a small whistle of a kettle going for tea.

People ask her what she's making, while the bolder of the bunch (Kaminari and Sero, mostly...and also Mina and Hagakure) try to sneak bites, earning them a hard slap on their hands or asses with a wooden spoon until they retreat with their tails between their legs. Ochako is humming lightly, plating up what she made and just about to call down her blond friend.]

[Katsuki smells the food and comes to investigate before she's done. 'Quiet' isn't exactly a word associated with the explosive blonde. And yet he sure doesn't make a sound as he steps into the kitchen and watches her with the critical eye of someone who knows his way around the kitchen.

He takes note of each and every choice she makes from the point where he enters. But doesn't comment. Only quietly observes. It's only after she's set the plates down safely and isn't holding anything when he actually speaks up to reveal his presence.]

Not off to a bad start. It smells good.

[Ochako doesn't hear him coming, probably too focused on her task. While definitely not a master in the kitchen, it's clear she's got some decent skill in a very homey sense. Her actions are measured and precise, but they don't necessarily err on the side of perfection. Katsuki could probably point out several flaws if he were really judging her prep, but the final product is what matters most. And she seems to be enjoying herself, flitting around happily and humming lightly before she actually spots him when he speaks up.]

Oh, Bakugou-kun!! I was just about to call you down! Ehehe, I'm glad you think so, but I hope it tastes good, too! The rice should be done in just a second--ah! Do you want tea, too? Or just water?
