It's time for a game of Never Have I Ever!

The rules of Never Have I Ever are simple: Players take turns listing potential experiences they've never had. If someone has done the action in question, they take a shot or a sip (or whatever other consequence you dream up). If no one has done the action in question, the person who posed the query takes a drink. The house drink of the night is Pixie Punch which may or may not cause any of the following effects: Standard drunk behaviour, giggling, flirting, oversharing, clinginess. (Pick your favourites!)

Not a drinker? No problem! There's plenty of juice and snacks to go around if you want to stay sober. The non-alcoholic punch and food, if sprinkled with fairy dust, may cause similar effects listed above (minus the drunk effects, of course.)

This game takes place on the Fable Network! You can reply in-person with action prompts if you imagine everyone is drinking in the same tavern, or reply with text-prompts if your character might be across the room from someone else. Sometimes it's easier to say things through text than it is face-to-face ... (Which could be for better or worse.)

Kaeya ... you can laugh this off as much as you want, but like I said, you can't stop me from caring about you.

All that can come later. My friends mean just as much to me as any lover I potentially have in the future.

I would never doubt the sincerity of your feelings, if that is what you're getting at. After all, I watched you save that young girl's life.

[ the melancholy part of him is tucked firmly away now ]

Oh! Oh, yeah ...

That's right. You did. ( Little Collei. ) I would've done anything to help her.

[circuitice]

I know.

It wasn't exactly easy to help her situation after all. And I would wager most people wouldn't have even known where to start.

[outride]

... Yeah.

( She softens her voice, and lowers her head. )

She, um ... she was here. But she left.

[circuitice]

[ he reaches out to softly pat her head. ]

But you'll get to see her when we go home.

[outride]

( She nods. Amber is a little surprised by his gesture, but she appreciates the comfort. )

I just hope she's okay.

[circuitice]

She looked like she'd grown quite a bit. I'm sure she will be.

[outride]

( It may be due to her disclosure about how lonely she feels, but Amber can detect a unique kind of vulnerability tonight from her conversation with Kaeya. After receiving a pat on the head from him once already, she feels motivated for just a little bit more comfort than she normally allows herself. )

... Kaeya, ( She glances up at him. ) Could I get a hug?

( Aw. )

[ the request visibly surprises him for a moment. hugs aren't typically a thing he doles out, except maybe to Klee? And even then, she doesn't really need them.

but, he can tell the request is sincere.

he's just surprised she would ask him of all people. ]

[circuitice]

Of course.

[ and he shifts just slightly, to wrap an arm around her shoulder and pull her into him for a brief hug ]

( She absolutely could've asked anyone else - but does she want to hug anyone else? Not in this moment. Kaeya means more to Amber than he will allow himself to believe, and not only this, he's one of few people who truly understands just how much Collei means to her. And lastly, he's a reminder of home.

The Outrider feels an immediate wave of comfort wash over her when Kaeya's arm circles around her smaller frame. For how reluctant he is with being vulnerable, this act feels like a privilege. She's trying to resist the urge to cry, though it is quite tempting. )

... Thanks, Kaeya.

There's no shame in seeking comfort.

[ he says easily, still unsure of how they got to this point where he was the one she asked. But, he understood. Maybe not the full extent, but it was hard to lose someone important to you. ]

Better now?

Mhm.

( She nods, and he'll be able to feel the movement of her head against his chest as she does. Amber withdraws herself once it feels natural enough, even though she felt like she could hug him just that little bit longer. But she does thumb away a little tear from the corner of her eye. )

Thanks, Kaeya. Really.

No need to mention it. I would never leave you in your hour of need.

[ he says in response, readjusting to provide her the space. As though the hug hadn't happened-- even though it very clearly did.

But, still.

He was a little flattered she would choose him. ]
