It's time for a game of Never Have I Ever!

The rules of Never Have I Ever are simple: Players take turns listing potential experiences they've never had. If someone has done the action in question, they take a shot or a sip (or whatever other consequence you dream up). If no one has done the action in question, the person who posed the query takes a drink. The house drink of the night is Pixie Punch which may or may not cause any of the following effects: Standard drunk behaviour, giggling, flirting, oversharing, clinginess. (Pick your favourites!)

Not a drinker? No problem! There's plenty of juice and snacks to go around if you want to stay sober. The non-alcoholic punch and food, if sprinkled with fairy dust, may cause similar effects listed above (minus the drunk effects, of course.)

This game takes place on the Fable Network! You can reply in-person with action prompts if you imagine everyone is drinking in the same tavern, or reply with text-prompts if your character might be across the room from someone else. Sometimes it's easier to say things through text than it is face-to-face ... (Which could be for better or worse.)

[ Cyno presses but he lets the other scoot closer even if he's still a bit tense. If his hands were free he might grab another drink even though that is probably the last thing that he needs.

At least to his credit maybe his tone can't be mistaken for anger anymore. ]

Cyno. Please.

Is this not enough for you? Am I not enough for you, just as I am?

[lordjackal]

[ Cyno frowns. ]

Of course you're enough... I...just won't stop trying to figure it out if I don't know, Tighnari.

[ Will knowing make the feeling he has go away? ]

[veardant]

And when I do tell you, what then? You'll be happy? You'll let it go? Because I don't think you will. Who I've slept with in the past has no bearing on our relationship, right now.

[ perhaps they rushed into this too quickly. perhaps cyno should have had some.. time. time to shop around. to be with other people. tighnari sighs. ]

Let's go home, I'll tell you there.

[ away from the booze. ]

I don't want to leave. What do you think I am going to do? You know me better than anyone.

[ Cyno says simply. He pulls one hand away to get another drink, but keeps hold of the other. ]

We have to make sure Kaveh doesn't end up passed out on the streets.

[ He's seen how sloshed their friend is after all. ]

[veardant]

.. all right.

[ tighnari deflates a little, his ears folding back against his head, his tail tucking in close to his side. he pulls away, his stomach flipping, and crosses both arms over his abdomen. ]

I'll take care of it.

[lordjackal]

Why do you not want to tell me? You never hide things from me.

[ That he knows of. ]

I can take care of getting you both home.

[veardant]

I'm not hiding it from you, I'd just rather talk about it at home. Not here. And preferably when you're more sober.

[lordjackal]

What is there to talk about when all I asked for is names?

[ Cyno frowns at him, glancing away. ]

I'm not even that drunk. I've barely had anything to drink.

[ They both know he's a lightweight but that he forgets he's a lightweight when he's actually drinking. ]

[veardant]

[ tighnari sighs, rubbing his face with both hands. ]

You're drunk, Cyno. Trust me.

[ pressing his hands into the table, tighnari stands. ]

I'm going to take care of Kaveh. I'll make sure he gets home.

[lordjackal]

[ Cyno frowns at him, feeling frustrated that he won't simply finish this conversation now so it can be done with.

He stands, ignore the unsteady wobble. ]

I said I would make sure you both get home. Do you think he is ready to leave this early?

[veardant]

I'm fine, Cyno. I'm barely buzzed.

[ tighnari, too, is quite frustrated, considering his tone and the set of his shoulders, but he's also very steady on his feet. ]

If he's not ready, I'll wait until he is.

[lordjackal]

Fine.

[ It's clear the anger has returned and he just turns to leave himself to go home. ]
