NETWORK SOCIAL #4

network social #4
never have I ever!

It's time for a game of Never Have I Ever!

The rules of Never Have I Ever are simple: Players take turns listing potential experiences they've never had. If someone has done the action in question, they take a shot or a sip (or whatever other consequence you dream up). If no one has done the action in question, the person who posed the query takes a drink. The house drink of the night is Pixie Punch which may or may not cause any of the following effects: Standard drunk behaviour, giggling, flirting, oversharing, clinginess. (Pick your favourites!)

Not a drinker? No problem! There's plenty of juice and snacks to go around if you want to stay sober. The non-alcoholic punch and food, if sprinkled with fairy dust, may cause similar effects listed above (minus the drunk effects, of course.)

This game takes place on the Fable Network! You can reply in-person with action prompts if you imagine everyone is drinking in the same tavern, or reply with text-prompts if your character might be across the room from someone else. Sometimes it's easier to say things through text than it is face-to-face ... (Which could be for better or worse.)

Use the code below to participate!

Flowr is a brand new app on your device! Or is it...? Maybe it's been there the whole time. Either way, it's Fable's socialising app! The default fruit for the app is a strawberry (🍓) emoji, but what's stopping you from changing it to the fruit that you grow on your trees instead? 🍎🍊🍌🍐🫐🍑

Welcome to Fable's fourth network social! Please read this before participating!

We alternate between keeping our socials public and private, and this month's one is private!
Lastly, while we love IC banter, please remember to be civil and familiarise yourself with the game rules. Have fun!

It certainly is. I'm sorry you've had to deal with that.

It's nothing you need to trouble yourself about, dear. I was fourteen years old the first time I broke a man's arm for getting too handsy, but it wasn't the last time. I know how to defend myself.

[ She sounds proud of herself, not even considering how sad it is that she's had to resort to violence to protect herself since she was an actual child. ]

Hah. Good! He had it coming. Honestly, I don't understand why people don't know how to keep their hands to themselves unless invited..

[ she should be proud of herself, tighnari thinks; he's certainly proud of her. ]

Fourteen, though? Forgive me for being too forward, but.. that's quite young for anyone to be getting handsy with.

It is too young. But men are disgusting--present company excluded. I lost count of how many times men tried to touch me, or attack me. Um... kidnap attempts... three, I think. One man I rebuffed tried to stab me. So I learned to fight, use a sword, use magic. It's been hard.

[ tighnari's brow furrows with concern. there's little to be done about the past, but it still makes his blood boil. so young.. he can't help but imagine collei being forced into such situations; there's a flash of anger behind his eyes. ]

Well, I'm glad you were able to learn to defend yourself.. though the circumstances behind your learning were regrettable. That's horrific.

Come now, let's not dwell on the bad times. It's in the past now. I've learned many hard lessons, and I survived them all. I'm here now, safe and sound, surrounded by friendly faces. That's worth celebrating, isn't it?

Of course, you're right. There's just someone very dear to me around that age, so the idea of -

[ oooh. he would crack some skulls. ]

Well, anyway. I believe I've lost track of turns!
