never have I ever!

It's time for a game of Never Have I Ever!

The rules of Never Have I Ever are simple: Players take turns listing potential experiences they've never had. If someone has done the action in question, they take a shot or a sip (or whatever other consequence you dream up). If no one has done the action in question, the person who posed the query takes a drink. The house drink of the night is Pixie Punch which may or may not cause any of the following effects: Standard drunk behaviour, giggling, flirting, oversharing, clinginess. (Pick your favourites!)

Not a drinker? No problem! There's plenty of juice and snacks to go around if you want to stay sober. The non-alcoholic punch and food, if sprinkled with fairy dust, may cause similar effects listed above (minus the drunk effects, of course.)

This game takes place on the Fable Network! You can reply in-person with action prompts if you imagine everyone is drinking in the same tavern, or reply with text-prompts if your character might be across the room from someone else. Sometimes it's easier to say things through text than it is face-to-face ... (Which could be for better or worse.)

Ooh, I don't think I have, I ... ( The cogs are finally turning in her head. ) Hold on a moment! Do you mean - right now? With this!? Oh no! In that case ... ( Amber takes a big drink! )

Have you really never tricked anyone or pulled some kind of prank before this? Deceive, maybe?

Not really! I mean, I was naughty as a kid, but not really in a deceptive kind of way. The ways I got into trouble was through things like climbing trees I shouldn't be climbing, setting things on fire that shouldn't be set on fire, and stealing bird eggs ... that kind of stuff.

Neither ... I think "naughty" is the better word!

What's the worst rule you've broken?

I-I dunno, actually! I've broke a few but, uh ... I don't know what I'd consider the worst...!

I probably sound like such a bad person ...

Not necessarily, though it might depend on the reason.

It's always been an accident, to be honest with you ... there are a lot of rules in the Knights of Favonius guidebook. It's easy to overlook some! I've had my gliding license revoked more times than I can say ...

Haha! Oh yeah, I should offer you some context!

( Inhale. )

The Knights of Favonius are the organisation I'm part of. We protect the city I live in back home and do all sorts of dutiful things for the citizens. I'm in the Outrider platoon, which was founded by my Grandfather. And, wait ... you've never heard of gliding? Really? For real?! It's only the best thing in the history of forever!

( ANOTHER INHALE. )

Gliding is freedom! It's tasting the air, it's feeling the comfort and guidance of the God of Wind, Barbatos! ( Amber, this explains nothing. )

I-I mean ... ehehe! To put it in practical terms, a wind glider is an apparatus back where I live. It's two wing-shaped shoots you wear behind your back. You climb to the highest mountain you can find - or in my case, the Mondstadt Cathedral - and jump off! Then, you glide down to the ground! And I'm the three-time gliding champion of Mondstadt! It's my favourite thing to do. ( Giggle! )

It's probably a good thing Amber was the first one he met or this would have really made his head spin. But as is, he's able to keep up despite his current personality switch.]

Gliding... I see. I can't think of anything like that in my world, but I can understand the appreciation of being in the air. We use airships and being the skies is considered akin to freedom.

Airships?! That's so cool! I would love to ride an airship! Or visit one! Is your entire world up in the air too?!

Floating islands. The surface is inhospitable.

Gods fucked up and now there's a deadly miasma down there.

Technically it was just one dragon god who split into two parts.

Wow! That's ... ( She pauses. ) Wow!

I-I mean, sorry. Honestly, I'm still in awe about the "floating islands" thing! But, I hope everyone in your world is okay...? ( Spoken with an unsure inflection in her voice-- )

For the most part. We still have local conflicts and other threats like primal beasts, crazy angels, hostile dragons, astrals, otherworlders, moon invaders...

[A small pause as he tilts his head thoughtfully.]

Saying it out loud, it doesn't sound all that peaceful, huh.

Wow.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, we've got all sorts of monsters where I'm from. Creepy lil' weirdos called Hilichurls ... taking out their camps is my speciality. And rune guardians - those guys are huge. Blobs of slime that aren't so threatening but can pack a punch. Bandits! And an entire criminal organisation! Whatever danger you want, we've got it all. ( Amber this is the worst vacation advertisement of Teyvat in the history of ever )
